I will be teaching a maternity workshop on Saturday July 31 beginning at 9:00 am in the studio. The workshop will run for about 6 hours. A model whom I've worked with over the years (now pregnant) is going to be our "lady in waiting" so to speak. The workshop will be based around shooting maternity photography with a flair for glamour and fashion--no holding up a pregnant belly with hands. That's about as original as a sunrise or sunset. Our pregnant lady will wear lingerie, we'll use fantasy cloth and other props to give her a super glamorous image. I'll demonstrate how to light and pose using various lighting and posing techniques. You'll not only learn but will take away some great images for your portfolio.
