Creative Images Photography

As owner and principal photographer for Creative Images Photography, located at 66 E. Glendale Avenue, Sparks, Nevada, it is my pleasure to thank you for your interest in having us make some photographs for you. We will do the best job we possibly can to ensure that your experience with us is pleasant and fulfilling.

I am an active member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA). These professional organizations enable me, via workshops they sponsor, and other workshops that I attend, to keep current on the latest trends and styles in photography. I feel that on-going training and education is important in the field of people photography and I constantly strive to enhance my creativity and my technical skills.

I have photographed weddings since 1989, and have done studio photography since 1990, when I opened my own studio. I've worked as a photojournalist, in fact, I taught photojournalism at Western Nevada Community College. I was a photographer for the State of Nevada at one time and a principal photographer for the Governor of Nevada (Bob Miller) for a little over two years. I've done the photography for the Christmas cards used by the Governor and done standard family portraits for the governor's family. Along with weddings and portraiture I shoot glamour, boudoir, fine art nudes, model portfolios, and graduating seniors -- as you can tell, I specialize in people photography. I also conduct and sponsor workshops and model shoots. I sponsored and helped set up the Corley Ranch Model Shoot in 1999 and the Valley View Ranch Model Shoot in 2000. Both were attended by models and photographers from various areas of the country. I have a formal degree in Sociology, and it seems very natural to me to view people through a viewfinder. It's just another way of showing how society operates.
